Erik Henriksen grew up on the Trondheim fjord in Norway, where his grandfather taught him to tie his first fly at age seven. By twelve, he was guiding his father's friends to sea-run browns and Atlantic salmon. He studied Marketing at BI Norwegian Business School before spending eight years in the outdoor industry—first at a major Scandinavian outdoor retailer, then leading digital marketing for a premium fly fishing brand. He joined Reffe APs because he believed the fly fishing market was missing something: premium-quality lines with sustainable values and honest pricing. The margins at traditional fly line brands had become untenable for small fly shops, and he saw an opportunity to build a brand that served both the sport and the retailers who keep it alive. As Marketing Manager for REFFE FISH LINE, Erik shapes the brand voice, develops content strategy, and coordinates the SDR team. He brings both passion for the sport and professional marketing expertise to every decision.
