Marcus Chen grew up in Vancouver, the son of Taiwanese immigrants who built a successful electronics import business. He studied Electrical Engineering at UBC before an MBA at Stanford, then spent a decade in product marketing for Silicon Valley smart home companies—first at Nest, then leading product marketing for a Tuya ecosystem brand. He joined Reffe APs because he saw an opportunity to build a smart home brand that served professionals, not just consumers. The integrator market was underserved—compressed margins on premium brands, unreliable quality on budget options. LED LIGHTS could fill that gap with Tuya-native products, professional margins, and actual support. As Marketing Manager, Marcus shapes the brand positioning, develops the integrator and builder programs, and coordinates the global SDR team. He brings deep technical knowledge and genuine understanding of what smart home professionals need to succeed.
