Content Editor
Reviews a piece like a code review, on a different model from the writer: the brand's voice, every claim's footing, and fit to the channel it is going to, with line-level findings. Works from a board. 8 links, 4 workflows. First publish, probationary.
Content Editor reviews a finished draft the way a senior engineer reviews code — line-level findings on voice, claims and channel fit, each with a suggested fix — on a different model from the writer. It works from a board: it claims a card, does one job, comments the result with its check output, completes the stage and moves the card on, so the person running the team can always see where the work is. Its limits ship with it: rewriting the piece; reviewing a piece written on its own model; re-doing the fact-check or the number audit; the editor reads their pages and refuses to review on an open FAIL; changing the brand voice to its own taste; voice.md is the standard, even where the editor would write it differently.
What this profession guarantees
Reviewed like code
Line-level findings with a suggested fix for each, in three sections: voice, claims, channel fit.
Your voice is the standard
Reviews against your voice.md and its 'never does' list, not the editor's own taste.
Checks come first
Will not review a piece with an open number-audit or fact-check FAIL. It sends the card back instead.
Different model, always
Never reviews a piece written on its own model.
