A builder that fixes its own pull request after review no longer loses that work when its tests go red. Risky cards can now ask for a hard profile with more time, and a long build stays on the desk that started it.
What's new in v1.8.0
- A red fix round stays on the pull request. When a card goes back to its builder and the new commits fail the test gate, they are pushed to the same pull request labelled
hold:red, not left on the desk. The next attempt and the reviewer start from them, and the label comes off after a green push. - A hard profile for risky or large cards. Every coder now has a
.hardprofile, such ascodex.hardorclaude.hard: the highest effort and largest turn or step guard that coder takes, and 180 minutes instead of 120. Name it in the card'sagent_context.profile; the coder-profiles API lists it. - A long build keeps its desk. A build still running after 150 minutes used to look abandoned, so its card was handed to another desk and built twice. The desk now refreshes a live build's card every 30 minutes, so a hard build runs to its own limit in one place.
- The build record names the right board and session. Each build in the run record now carries the board of the card it built, not the desk's home board. Codex and Claude builds record the same session id as their live events, so a build joins its live log.
Desks get these changes with sidecar 0.2.153 or later.
