The fleet read now says what role each desk takes work under, and it flags a desk that is taking work with no role. A board that hands cards only to desks with a role would give such a desk nothing, and until now nothing said so.
What's new in v1.15.0
Every desk shows the role it claims work under.
GET /api/v1/environmentsreturnsworker_rolefor each desk, such asbuilder. The desk reports it on every health check, so the value is what the desk is running now, not what it was set up with.A desk that is taking work with no role is flagged.
no_roleistrueonly when the desk is running its claim loop, is not dormant and reports no role. A desk with its loop off is never flagged, so a parked desk does not show as a problem. You can tell a running desk from an idle one.
worker_loop_runningsays whether the desk is claiming cards. Anullmeans OPVS has not measured it yet, which is not the same asfalse. The same answer in the IDE. The MCP tool
fleet_listshows all three fields on every slot from @opvs-ai/mcp 2.13.4.
A builder hired from the catalog gets the role builder set for it. On a desk you run yourself, set OPVS_WORKER_ROLE in the sidecar's settings and restart it.
